I’m a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach with a passion for helping people like you follow your dreams, and create the life you want and deserve.
So how did I get into coaching?
For those of you interested in the details, my path is pretty detailed.
I completed an MSc in 1991, which was followed by a successful sixteen year career in the pharmaceutical industry. For a good portion of my career I was an expert at identifying a product’s unique value within a competitive market. For the most part, I loved my job. I was successful, well-travelled and well-respected and yet something was missing. I realize now that “I” was missing – a part of me was checked at the door every time I entered my office.
I began thinking about making lifestyle and career changes. Changes that would enable me to live my life the way I wanted to, and allow me to spend more time with my family.
At the time, my children attended a school built upon the education philosophies of Friedrich Froebel. At its core, the school’s philosophy is to develop children to be creative, self-active individuals from a place of knowing the essence of who they are as individuals. So, as I was watching my own children develop into confident, creative, outgoing people, I saw the potential to apply the same philosophy to adults. And thus my entry into coaching was sparked. I completed a diploma from the Froebel Institute to understand the philosophies further, and to align my parenting with the school’s principles. I currently sit on its Board of Directors.

I received my coach training through the esteemed Coaches Training Institute and am a graduate of their certification program. I am also a graduate of CTI’s Co-Active Leadership program, a program designed to uncover, deepen and build on my natural strengths as a leader. I am a current member of the International Coach Federation and adhere to their code of ethics.
So what makes me different?
All of that being said, the details are kind of irrelevant. What I bring to the table in my work is really what matters. I’ve always been about relationship, with oneself and between others. My expertise in identifying the unique value of a product has been transferred from objects to people, to human capital, to potential, to the possibilities that arise when we step in with both feet, our whole self. I’m creative, passionate and led by my heart. And I’m also scientific, practical and intellectual, with plenty of corporate experience. It’s this unique blend that enables me to be a successful coach and powerful partner to my individual and corporate clients.
